The Undaunted Mind

Let your soul stand cool and composed before a million universes.

How many times have we stirred awake at two in the morning due to the thoughts which have crept into our sleep? The concerns we have, both real and imagined, constantly conspire to foil the day ahead. When this happens, whether at night or the middle of our day, we must train our minds to automatically shift focus. Taking deep breaths, we dwell on the eternal nature of our soul’s journey, smiling at the trivial nature of these anxieties. Empowering images flow in, and we picture ourselves moving forward with complete equanimity. The power does not belong to our circumstances, it resides within us.
