Of all the beautiful truths pertaining to the soul which have been restored or brought to light in this age, none is more gladdening or fruitful than this—that man is the master of his thought, the molder of his character, and the maker and shaper of condition, environment, and destiny.

A great work is made out of a combination of obedience and liberty.

Throughout my life, I have come across a good number of people with a high level of creativity who happen to believe that structure equals constraint. I have also come across a lot of hard-working conformists who don’t seem to have a creative bone in their respective bodies.

Which group is more successful in life? That distinction is reserved for the (smaller) group of individuals able to balance their creative energies with a disciplined approach to life—the type required to matter-of-factly accomplish the critical tasks needed to move forward. This is simply unacceptable, and the reason so many live unfulfilled, unhappy lives. So decide, right now, to take command of your life, set course for your destination, and take control of the helm!

…Think of this quote the next time you turn on any reality show. As a group, have we spiritually or mentally advanced in 400 years? Truth is, every generation—past, present, future—offers us the multitude who never look within, and those who quietly strive, day in and day out, to move closer to their Creator.
